So how much wheatgrass do you need? It usually takes a tray of wheatgrass to produce 6-8 ounces of juice.
Most people opt to buy wheatgrass trays online that come premade with a few seeds, soil, and other apparatus that is needed for you to grow your own wheatgrass.
Steps:
1) Sprout seeds in water for approximately 6-12 hours.
2) Mix together organic top soil with peat moss (a 50:50 ratio) and place it in a seed or cafeteria tray.
3) Drain the seeds and scatter them over the soil mixture. Seeds should touch but not overlap.
4) Very lightly sprinkle peat moss over seeds to cover them
5) Water the tray and do your best not to disturb the peat moss and seeds
6) Keep the trays out of direct sunlight for around 7 to 10 days and persist in watering as it is needed.
7) When the grass grows to be ~7 inches tall, you can harvest and juice the wheatgrass.
Wheatgrass does not take a lot of effort or time to grow.
